City offers small business technology seminar

The City of Durham Equal Opportunity and Equity Assurance Department will offer a free Use of Technology to Enhance Small Business Management Seminar Thursday, December 17, 2015, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the  City Hall Council Chambers located at 101 City Hall Plaza, 1st Floor. Cave Taureau, Durham's new wine shop, has opened it's doors on 339 W. Main St. The business is owned by majority partner and store manager Noel Sherr, and minority owners Wes Rountree and Nathan Vandergrift.

Rougemont Resident Launches Goats' Milk Soap Making Business

Todd Hinson has changed career directions and is now operating Red Mountain Goodness, making soap from goats’ milk in his home kitchen in Rougemont in northern Durham County to be sold in stores in the state.
