Bulldega market to open this weekend

Bulldega, a local market with a local focus, will offer staples like eggs and milk but will also offer items such as beer and wine, take-and-go lunch items prepared by Durham Catering Co. and Saledalia and will stock the shelves with environmentally-friendly products and goods from small businesses and farms.The official opening is this Saturday (May 7) from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. (Regular hours are planned to be 7-9 Mon.-Fri.; 8-9 Sat., and 9-6 Sun.) and is located across from city hall at 104 City Hall Plaza.

Durham Catering Co. has a new owner

Tom Ferguson, the owner of Durham Catering Co. and Rise Biscuit and Donuts , has sold the catering company to longtime employee Sarah Parker, who has been acting as president of the company.
