Bull City Craft consolidating locations, closes Golden Belt location
Durham-based art supply store and craft studio, Bull City Craft is consolidating its Golden Belt Annex with its location at the Homestead Market Shopping Center in South Durham. The Annex at Golden Belt has closed and all inventory is being moved to Bull City Craft’s main location on Highway 54 .

Moogefest presents workshops and a festival preview
Moogefest will present Dial-Tones Saturday December 5, at The Shed, 807 E. Main St. in Golden Belt. Featured activities include interactive synthesizer building workshops by day, followed by an ambient drone performance at night, Dial-Tones offers a preview of the Moogfest 2016 festival, to be held May 19-22, 2016, in venues in downtown Durham.

Blend Cafe to Open in Golden Belt
Blend Cafe will open in Golden Belt on February 1st with initial hours of 7am - 5:30pm. The cafe will occupy 1,424 square-feet of Golden Belt real estate and will sell Yogenfruz frozen yogurt, Counter Culture coffee, sandwiches, salads and homemade baked goods.

Golden Belt's "Cordoba Center for the Arts" Granted Historic Landmark Status
The Golden Belt Manufacturing Co. property at 800 Taylor St, the "Cordoba Center for the Arts," has been approved for Durham Historic Landmark status by the Durham City Council. The building, which houses arts nonprofits The Scrap Exchange, Liberty Arts and the ReUse Warehouse, is located next to mixed-use complex Golden Belt Arts.

Liberty Arts Relocates to Cordoba Building Near Golden Belt
Liberty Arts, a nonprofit metal sculpting organization, has moved operations to the Cordoba Building near Golden Belt. The Cordoba Building is the new home of former Liberty Warehouse neighbors, The Scrap Exchange. Liberty Arts will continue to host demonstrations in the George Watts Hill Pavilion at Durham Central Park.
