New Bull City Connector stops along Duke University's campus have increased usage
New
Bull City Connector stops along Duke’s campus
added in August; helped increase Duke-related ridership by
12 percent, according to a survey by GoSmart. That percentage
represents a jump of about 30 more passengers, now about 210 each weekday.

Bull City Connector adds Duke stops
Durham’s Bull City Connector will add new routes starting August 15 along Duke’s campuses and will include West Campus and Duke Hospital.

DATA, Duke Launch Real Time Bus Locator
DATA, Triangle Transit, and Duke University have launched a public beta phase of TransLoc, a new GPS system that offers real time location data on buses as they move along their routes. TransLoc serves all 28 Duke transit buses, the Bull City Connector and many other triangle transit systems. The service can be accessed online, on mobile devises, through text messages and on a variety of smartphone apps.

Increased Ridership for the Bull City Connecter
The Bull City Connector's average weekday ridership is regularly in the over-1,600 range, an increase over the 1,400 to 1,500 range that marked the end of the 2010-2011 school year.

City of Durham Honored for Alternative Transportation Efforts
The City of Durham was recently recognized for outstanding alternative transportation efforts, including free transit service on the Durham Area Transit Authority (DATA) and the Bull City Connector as well as bike racks, compressed work weeks, and teleworking, at the Annual Triangle Commuter Awards event held by the area GoTriangle Transportation Demand Management Coordination Program.
