Mez Owners to Open New Restaurant

The owners of Mez plan to build a new restaurant called Page Road Grill between the intersections of Page Road at Slater Road and South Miami Boulevard. Construction on the nearly 8,000 sq-ft restaurant will begin next week. Page Road Grill will feature a menu of American-style foods using locally grown products.

Mez Places Second in Best Dish NC Contest

Mez placed second on Best Dish NC's list of the Best Casual Dining for the Eastern Piedmont/Coastal Region. Best Dish is a statewide regional contest of the best menu items created by chefs that use local products and ingredients.

Mez Named Casual Dining Finalist in Best Dish in North Carolina

Durham's Mez has been named a finalist in the casual dining category of this year's Best Dish in North Carolina contest, sponsored by the N.C. Department of Agriculture. The contest is designed to encourage restaurant owners and chefs to use N.C. foods. The top three winners in each category and in each region will be announced in November.
