Hillside High School product wins World Junior Championship Hurdles title

Durham's Marcus Krah won the Men’s 110m Hurdles at the IAAF World U20 Championships 2016 in Poland. The Hillside High School product earned a personal best of 13.25 seconds. He will be attending UNC- Chapel Hill.

Hillside has state’s No. 1 assistant principal

Jason Jowers, assistant principal at Hillside High School, has been named the 2015 North Carolina Assistant Principal of the Year by the N.C. Association of Principals and Assistant Principals.

Hillside High School President Named 2014 Outstanding Young Educator

William Logan, principal of Hillside High School, was recognized as the 2014 Outstanding Young Educator by the North Carolina Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development.

Hillside High School Opens Bank

Hillside High School has become the first school in the state to open a bank in the school. The bank is called Student Bank Training Center.

Logan Named Principal of the Year

Principal William Logan of Durham's Hillside High School was named Durham Public Schools' Wells Fargo Principal of the Year.

Hillside High School Adds 5 Coaches

Five new coaches will join Hillside High in the new school year. Athletics Director Bob Hill hired Rob Clodfelter to coach boys cross-country, Anthony Leak for baseball, Sylvia Latson for softball, Syreeta Mason for volleyball and A.J. Davis for boys track.
