Hillside High School product wins World Junior Championship Hurdles title

Durham's Marcus Krah won the Men’s 110m Hurdles at the IAAF World U20 Championships 2016 in Poland. The Hillside High School product earned a personal best of 13.25 seconds. He will be attending UNC- Chapel Hill.

Hillside has state’s No. 1 assistant principal

Jason Jowers, assistant principal at Hillside High School, has been named the 2015 North Carolina Assistant Principal of the Year by the N.C. Association of Principals and Assistant Principals.

Hillside High School Adds 5 Coaches

Five new coaches will join Hillside High in the new school year. Athletics Director Bob Hill hired Rob Clodfelter to coach boys cross-country, Anthony Leak for baseball, Sylvia Latson for softball, Syreeta Mason for volleyball and A.J. Davis for boys track.
