The Cookery to Add Event Space

The Cookery will add a 2,500-square-foot event space in their current location for private dinners, receptions, workshops and pop-up restaurants. Opening is slated for late summer 2012.

Kismet Crackers Graduates from The Cookery to Whole Foods

Durham food entrepreneur, Gordon Stella, will begin selling her biscotti-like product Kismet Crackers at local Whole Foods Stores. Stella began her business at Durham's commercial kitchen and 'culinary incubator' The Cookery.

The Cookery to Open in April

The Cookery slated to launch this month to provide kitchen space, equipment and support for food-related businesses. The new "culinary incubator" will be housed at 1101 W. Chapel Hill St. in a building that previously was home to the Durham Food Co-op.
