Durham's The Pit to Open Tuesday

Durham's The Pit, a barbecue restaurant is set to open in Durham on Tuesday.

The Pit to Open in Durham's Central Park District

A second location of the Raleigh restaurant The Pit is slated to open next year in a portion of a building at 321 W. Geer St in Durham's Central Park District. The restaurant which serves whole-hog, pit-cooked pork barbecue as well as turkey barbecue and barbecued tofu is expected to seat about 250 people and to employ about 150 people.
