Bayer CropScience has broken ground on a new greenhouse in Durham. The 29,500 square foot facility called Greenhouse 1 will be used for research on seed traits, plant diseases and insect testing.

82,000-square-foot laboratory office building at 407 Davis Dr. in Durham.

Agricultural biotechnology companies involved in the development of
genetically modified crops, also known as genetically modified organisms or
GMOs, including Durham companies Syngenta, Bayer CropScience, BASF

BayerCrop Science Consolidates R&D Efforts to RTP
BayerCrop Science is consolidating its R&D operations at its North American headquarters in Research Triangle Park. The producer of crop protection, nonagricultural pest control and other products, is remodeling its location at 2 T.W. Alexander Drive in Durham County to accomodate the consolidation.
