Bayer CropScience has broken ground on a new greenhouse in Durham. The 29,500 square foot facility called Greenhouse 1 will be used for research on seed traits, plant diseases and insect testing.

Real Estate Investor Purchases Durham Bayer Building

California real estate investor Alexandria Real Estate Equities has purchased a building near Research Triangle Park as an extension of its relationship with Bayer CropScience, paying $19.4 million for an 82,000-square-foot laboratory office building at 407 Davis Dr. in Durham.

BayerCrop Science Consolidates R&D Efforts to RTP

BayerCrop Science is consolidating its R&D operations at its North American headquarters in Research Triangle Park. The producer of crop protection, nonagricultural pest control and other products, is remodeling its location at 2 T.W. Alexander Drive in Durham County to accomodate the consolidation.
