Upgrades Planned for Cameron Indoor Stadium

Duke University will make $20 million improvements to Cameron Indoor Stadium and will create an indoor entry space, memorabilia space 6,000 square feet of hospitality space on the second floor and first floor game-day ticketing space. No renovations are planned for the stadium itself.

Duke Baseball Radio Show to Debut Feb 10

Duke Baseball will debut the Duke Baseball Radio Show on Feb 10 hosted by Chris Edwards on Mondays throughout the season from 6:30-7pm at Tobacco Road Sports Café.

Duke Football Signs 18

Duke signed 18 recruits on National Signing Day, 12 of which were ranked in the top 50 at their respective positions by ESPN.

Coach K Wins 900th Game

Duke University Basketball head coach Mike Krzyzewski has won his 900th game at Duke. Krzyzewski became only the second coach in NCAA Division I history to record 900 wins at one school.

Three Duke Women's Basketball Players Named to Preseason John R. Wooden List

The Los Angeles Athletic Club announced the top 30 preseason candidates for the 2013-14 John R. Wooden Award All-American Team, with Duke seniors Chelsea Gray and Tricia Liston and junior Elizabeth Williams among those players selected by members of the national college women’s basketball media.

Duke Swimming and Diving Program Receives Honors

Nine members of the Duke swimming and diving program have earned Scholar All-America recognition for the 2012-13 season, as announced Thursday by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA). In addition, both the Blue Devil men and women received Scholar All-America team honors for the spring semester.

Kevin White Named National AD of the Year

Duke University Vice President and Director of Athletics Kevin White has been named one of four NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision recipients of the Under Armour AD of the Year Award announced on Tuesday by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA).

Duke swimming and diving head coach Dan Colella has announced the addition of Nunzio Esposto to the Blue Devil coaching staff. A successful coach on the Olympic, national and collegiate levels, Esposto will serve as the program’s head diving coach.

Duke University will induct seven new members into the school’s Athletics Hall of Fame on Friday, October 11. The following are slated for induction: Matt Andresen (fencing), Wes Chesson (football), Julie Exum Breuer (tennis), Jay Heaps (soccer), John Rennie (coach), Dr. Georgia Schweitzer Beasley (basketball) and Jason Williams (basketball).

Duke Track and Field Programs Receive $5 Million

Duke athletics received a $5 million donation from University trustee emeritus Morris Williams, and his wife Ruth. The Williams’ gift will support track and field programs, as part of the larger $3.25 billion Duke Forward campaign.

The Duke Women's Golf team has won its 18th ACC Title. No. 3 Duke posted daily totals of 293, 292 and 297 en route to a 24-stroke victory at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, N.C.
