New wine, charcuteria and cheese bar opening to open on Main Street

A new wine bar, Bar Brunello, will open in the former Bar Lusconi space at 117 E. Main St. Bar Brunello's main focus will be on wine, charcuterie and cheese and is expected to open this month, according to its social media page.

Lucia restaurant to experience trasformation

Lucia restaurant owner Kevin Jennings has announced a major a transformation for the restaurant in the upcoming weeks. The restaurant has hired a new head Chef; James Huff, who hails from Washington, D.C., where he was previously executive chef at Pearl Dive Oyster Palace and a new general manager; Brandon Carr, former restaurant manager of Four Square. They will be closed for at least a week while they develop a new plan for the restaurant located at 605 W. Main St. at West Village.

British Indian gastropub to take over Beyú Caffe space

The owners of Bull McCabe’s Irish Pub are teaming up with an Indian food truck owner to open an English gastropub featuring British and south Asian cuisine in the current Beyu Caffe.The new restaurant, will offer a wide range of English, European and local craft beers and a selection of single-malt scotch. Patel will serve up South Asian flavors with such dishes as curried Shepherd’s pie, chicken tikka masala and kabobs, as well as such pub classics as fish and chips and Scotch eggs.
