MoDH installs new exhibit at Trust Building Gallery
The Trust Building became home to the Museum of Durham History’s newest “Museum Without Walls” exhibit, which consists of two sections: Anonymous Ancestors and Bull City Soundscape. The Gallery is located on the first floor of the Trust Building, 212 W. Main Street. and is available to experience Monday-Friday 9am-6pm and Saturday 10am-6pm.

City of Durham Grant Gives History Hub a Boost
The Durham City Council has awarded a $47,145 grant to the Museum of Durham History for capital improvements to its History Hub and for the installation of an area combining a map of local heritage sites and an interactive, touch-screen display.

Museum of Durham History Hires First Executive Director
The Museum of Durham History hired Katie Spencer as its first Executive Director; Spencer had served as the organization's co-director since December 15, 2011.

Museum of Durham History Announces Selection of Co-Directors
Cindy Gardiner and Katie Spencer have been selected as Co-Directors of the Museum of Durham History. Gardiner, a graduate of Duke University and Durhamite for over 35 years, brings extensive public relations and communication experience from Durham Public Schools, Verizon and Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina. Spencer contributes experience in the museum field in exhibits and archiving; she earned a Bachelor's degree from UNC-Chapel Hill and is working towards a MA in Museum Studies from the University of Leicester, UK.
