Durham Distillery announces Oct.1 opening date

Durham’s distillery, located at 711 Washington St.,will officially open its doors for public tours and tastings Oct. 1.Tours cost will $10 and be offered most Thursdays and Fridays starting at 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., and Saturdays at 4:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Durham Distellery to sell product in ABC stores

Durham Distillery will begin selling two lines of gin under the brand Conniption, one an American dry and one a Navy strength. The company will also offer a line of flavored liqueurs under the name Damn Fine.

Durham Distillery Finds Location, Projects Early 2015 Opening

Durham Distillery, a new gin distillery, has signed a 7-year lease for a 2,400-square-foot facility at 711 Washington St. The gin will be bottled and sold through a distributor and the location will have a small cocktail bar for tastings and tours.

Durham Distillery Looking for Downtown Space

Melissa and Lee Katrincic of Durham Distillery are seeking a downtown Durham space for their gin-producing business. They plan to distill 230-liter batches and to bottle and sell the gin through a distributor, while also maintaining a small cocktail bar for tastings and tours.
