Pauli Murray House Named a National Treasure

The National Trust for Historic Preservation has named the childhood home of attorney, priest and civil-rights activist Pauli Murray a National Treasure.

DSA Student Wins Pauli Murray Project's Youth Prophecy Poetry Contest

Durham School of the Arts student Bethanie Robie won first place in the Pauli Murray Project's Youth Prophecy Poetry contest in the 13-25 year old category with her poem "Equality." The Youth Prophecy Poetry Contest is an initiative of the Pauli Murray Project to introduce youth to Durham’s important legacy of civil and human rights activism and to Pauli Murray, one of our prominent homegrown activists and poets.
