Holiday run will cause partial closures to Northern Durham roads
A holiday-themed half marathon, Race 13.1, will take place Dec. 12 and will force the partial closure of several roads in the northern part of the city from 8 to 11:30 a.m.

Wetrock Farm recieved overwhelming approval
Durham County's board of commissioners gave its overwhelming approval to build Wetrock Farm, a 230-acre site along N.C. 501 in north Durham. The property, a 230-acre site along N.C. 501 will have 141 homes alongside 130 acres of preserved forestland and will be the region's first housing community with its own organic fruit and vegetable farm.

Durham medical campus sells for $53M
The physician owners of Triangle Orthopedics have sold their ownership in the buildings at the North Carolina Specialty Hospital in north Durham in a deal valued at $53.1 million. Both buildings have been sold to an affiliate of CNL Healthcare Properties of Orlando, Florida.
