Bayer USA Foundation Awards Grant to Durham Boys & Girls Club

The Bayer USA Foundation has awarded more than $70,000 to North Carolina nonprofits including the John Avery Boys & Girls Club of Durham.

The John Avery Boys and Girls Club announced that Jesse Boulerice has joined the nonprofit’s board. Boulerice is a retired NHL player who currently works with Merrill Lynch as a financial adviser.

Boys & Girls Club Competes for Pepsi Refresh Funding

The John Avery Boys & Girls Club is competing for $50,000 in Pepsi Refresh funding for its football and cheerleading programs; the Club is currently in 42nd place out of 300 competitors.
