Beltline Station Platform Renamed

The Platform at the Cordoba Center for the Arts in the Golden Belt complex is being leased and tentatively renamed "Belt Line Station." Catering will be provided by the managers of the Cotton Room.

Golden Belt's "Cordoba Center for the Arts" Granted Historic Landmark Status

The Golden Belt Manufacturing Co. property at 800 Taylor St, the "Cordoba Center for the Arts," has been approved for Durham Historic Landmark status by the Durham City Council. The building, which houses arts nonprofits The Scrap Exchange, Liberty Arts and the ReUse Warehouse, is located next to mixed-use complex Golden Belt Arts.

Liberty Arts Relocates to Cordoba Building Near Golden Belt

Liberty Arts, a nonprofit metal sculpting organization, has moved operations to the Cordoba Building near Golden Belt. The Cordoba Building is the new home of former Liberty Warehouse neighbors, The Scrap Exchange. Liberty Arts will continue to host demonstrations in the George Watts Hill Pavilion at Durham Central Park.
