New condos in Central Park under construction

The new condominium complex, The Brannan, is located in the Central Park area on the corner of Hunt Street and Roney Street and will contain 35 condominiums in a variety of eight floor plans ranging from 842 to 1,767 square feet. Designers are Roger Ferris + Partners in collaboration with condominium architect JDavis, a condominium architect in North Carolina.

Durham Central Park names new director

Durham Central Park has hired longtime Durham Farmers’ Market manager Erin Kauffman as its new executive director.

Durham Central Park to Open Playground

A Grand Opening of Mt. Merrill, a new playground at Durham Central Park will take place from 10 a.m. to Noon at 501 Foster St. The new playground will include slides, boulder outcroppings and protective surfacing.
