"Don’t Be Mean to People: A Golden Rule Saison” to be released May 15

A collaborative brew/fundraiser from 30 local breweries began in early April as a response to the anti-LGBT law, commonly called HB2. The product of their response is "Don’t Be Mean to People: A Golden Rule Saison.” The brewers want the message itself as apolitical and encouraging as possible. The beer will finish brewing this week and should start going out to donors and the 30 breweries that contributed to its development on May 15.

Ponysaurus now open

Ponysauraus Brewing Company, located at 219 Hood Street,opened their doors on September 29. The bar will open every afternoon at 4 p.m., except Mondays, and plans to expand its hours in coming weeks.

Ponysaurus Brewing Co. expands to Hood Street

Ponysaurus Brewing Co., a nanobrewery, is moving its brewing facility to a 6,000 square foot warehouse on the corner of Hood and Ramseur Streets. The new facility will expand the company’s annual brewing capacity from 180 barrels a year to 2,000 barrels, Production from the new location is anticipated to begin in spring 2015 and  a taproom is slated to open in the summer.

PonySaurus Brewing Company Serves Beer at Local Restaurants

The new Durham brewing operation, Ponysaurus Brewing Co., will sell beer at Watts Grocery, Geer Street Garden, and Mateo bar de Tapas.
