Duke Coach Buehler Named 2011 Jackie Robinson Humanitarian Award Winner

Duke University track & field coach Al Buehler was recently honored with the 2011 Jackie Robinson Humanitarian Award from the United States Sports Academy in Daphne, Ala. The national honor is presented to an individual who has demonstrated qualities of dedication, personal sacrifice grace under pressure, and other qualities that Jackie Robinson showed throughout his career, when he broke the baseball color barrier.
