Durham Schools Receive Biogen Grants

Durham's Biogen Idec Foundation in collaboration with Triangle Community Foundation announced it has awarded 28 grants totaling $48,914.55 to Triangle area schools (seven from Durham) and nonprofits as part of its Micro-Grants in Science Education program. The program provides small, one-time grants ranging from $250 - $2,500 to schools and nonprofits to support science education initiatives.
