The Durham
Committee on the Affairs of Black People, DCABP, welcomed new chairman Omar
Beasley at Community Baptist Church Sunday. Beasley, who was elected by the
committee’s members earlier this month, was sworn in as the replacement for
former state senator and retiring Chairman Ralph Hunt.
