The independent-owned Brookwood Inn hotel near the Durham VA Medical Center in Durham has been bought by a hotel development firm, Concord Hospitality Enterprises. The group paid $10.2 million for the 148-room hotel property and are planning a $6 million renovation and rebranding of the property in 2016.
