Developer buys downtown 12-acre site for $5 million

CitiSculpt, a Charlotte developer, has paid $5 million for a 12.1-acre site adjacent to the Durham Bulls Athletic Park in downtown Durham, the site of a former car dealership, from Hendrick Automotive Group. The company plans to invest as much as $400 million in a project that would include a mix of office, retail, one or more hotels and apartments.
