Fayetteville Elementary Teacher Wins $175,000 Grant

Tomika R. Altman-Lewis, a Fayetteville Street Elementary School teacher is one of six public school teachers from across the state who has received a $175,000 Burroughs Wellcome Fund Career Award for Science and Mathematics Teachers for professional development, salary supplement and equipment and supplies for the school.
