Durham Central Park School Named Champions of Construction

A class of Durham Central Park School third-graders were named the top third-grade builders in the nation after building four towering skyscrapers from K'NEX building tools. The K'NEX sponsored competition required structures, which included everything from working elevators to chandeliers, to be taller than the shortest student in the class and shorter than the tallest. They also had to support a standard-sized softball.
